Diving Medical
All students are required to undertake a diving medical prior to the start of the PADI Open Water Diver Course Bali. We strongly recommend that you take this medical prior to your arrival in Bali.
Course Structure
The PADI Open Water Diver course Bali is student centered which means that the Instructor will ensure that you have mastered the skills that you are working on before advancing to the next level. If you need extra time to practice skills, you will be given that extra time.
The PADI Open Water Diver Course Bali normally consists of four days of training. The first two days consists of the knowledge development and confined water training dives. The last two days compromise four open water training dives where after successful completion, you will receive your PADI Open Water Diver Certification.
Blue Season Bali strongly believes in providing quality dives whilst participating in the open water training dives. For this reason we will always choose top quality dives sites such as Tulamben, Puri Jati, Menjangan Island and Pemuteran. We do not take students into Lovina area dives sites as we believe this greatly reduces the quality of the course.
| Day One | Knowledge Development
sessions 1, 2 and 3. Confined water Dives 1, 2 and 3. |
| Day two | Knowledge Development sessions
4 and 5. Confined water Dives 4 and 5. Final Exam. |
| Day Three | Two Open Water Training Dives. |
| Day Four | Two Open Water Training Dives. |
There are a couple of options available to students to reduce the amount of time spent on the course. Blue Season Bali will always provide you with the PADI Open Water Diver Manual prior to the start of the course. Depending on your requirements, we can either post the manual to your home address, or we can have it delivered to your hotel in Bali for your arrival. All students are asked to have read the manual and completed the knowledge reviews prior to starting the course. If the student has read and completed the knowledge reviews, it is quite often possible to complete the course in three days.
