DIVE BALI - PEMUTERAN
Only a 40 minute drive from Blue Season Zen Resort, Pemuteran is the proud owner of BIOROCK. The biggest coral reef nursery and restoration project in the world. Therefore it’s worthwhile diving or snorkeling at this very interesting location. Pemuteran has not only artificial reefs, it also has superb diving with Napoleon Reef and Close Encounters as one of the most rewarding dive destinations in this area.

DIVE SITES - PEMUTERAN
The reefs in Pemuteran are in general very colorful with great looking hard and soft coral, table coral, sponges and gorgonian sea fans mixed with lots of reef fish and none to moderate currents so good for all divers. Below you can find our top destinations when it comes up to diving Pemuteran.
NAPOLEON REEF
The corals in Napoleon Reef are in good shape and normally the first dive we do when we dive Pemuteran. It takes about 10 minutes to reach the dive location by boat (Jukung). The reefs are decorated with soft and hard coral and slopes down to 35 meters. Some reef fish and invertebrate life are the tenants of this nice dive site.

CLOSE ENCOUNTERS
The name of this dive location comes from the fact that you can spot big fish or do we have to say that the big fish will spot you! They also don’t mind to come close to you and wondering what you are doing there. Sometimes you can have some current but in general, the dive site is accessible for all level of divers. Normally you start your dive at around 20-25 meters (depending on your qualification) and doing a safety stop in between the nice looking coral gardens. Also this dive is a boat dive and takes about 10 minutes to reach this dive location.
